Cycling in North Devon

Tarka Trail Barnstaple station is the starting point for the Coast to Coast section of the Tarka Trail, offering miles of safe traffic-free cycling. Cycle hire is available at Barnstaple station (Easter-October) with a discount for rail passengers. From the Tarka Line railway, cycle routes can be accessed from Barnstaple, Crediton and Eggleston. Cycle route leaflets are available from Tourist Information Centres.
