Barnstaple
station is the starting point for the Coast to Coast section of
the Tarka Trail, offering miles of safe traffic-free cycling. Cycle
hire is available at Barnstaple station (Easter-October) with a
discount for rail passengers. From the Tarka Line railway, cycle
routes can be accessed from Barnstaple, Crediton and Eggleston.
Cycle route leaflets are available from Tourist Information Centres.

cycle to the very end of England with The Cornish Way Cycle Route
map, travelling through some lovely countryside. The route starts
at Lands End, divides into two at the historic cathedral city of
Truro to visit both the north and south coasts of Cornwall before
rejoining at Bodmin to finish at Bude. Stamping card included with
